Inspire the next generation of pharmacy professionals

Are you a GPhC-registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician with a passion for education and workforce development?

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated pharmacy professional to join our Pharmacy Practice team in the School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future pharmacy workforce by supporting students throughout their journey to becoming confident, capable healthcare professionals.

The Role:

You will:

  • Deliver and support teaching across the MPharm programme
  • Mentor and inspire pharmacy students as they develop their professional skills and confidence
  • Support pharmacy placements and workforce development initiatives
  • Work closely with practice partners to provide outstanding learning experiences
  • Contribute to innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment

About You

You will be:

  • A GPhC-registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician
  • Passionate about developing future healthcare professionals
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about innovative and practice-focused education

The interviews and micro-teach are currently anticipated to be held on 19 October 2026.

The assessment process consists of a micro-teach in the morning, followed by interviews in the afternoon. You will participate in the full selection day and will not be sent home after the micro-teach. You will prepare and deliver a micro-teach (workshop) to a small group. Please note that this is a two-stage process, and the micro-teach assessment will form part of the overall selection process. More details regarding what to prepare will be sent to you prior to the interview date.

Salary Information:

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures.
