At Wallscourt

At Wallscourt, we employ Teaching Partners rather than Teaching Assistants. A Teaching Partner is a valued, Level 3-qualified member of staff who works alongside teachers as part of a highly collaborative team. Our Teaching Partners play a key role in day-to-day teaching and learning, attend weekly team meetings, and access the same high-quality professional development opportunities as teaching staff.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Wallscourt Farm Academy is a warm, ambitious and inclusive school where children and staff thrive. Ofsted recognised that we are “strong for inclusion” and that “inclusion is a defining strength of the school.” We are proud of our collaborative culture, where every member of staff is valued and plays a vital role in helping children succeed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
