Why we're hiring:

We're looking for a highly organised, confident and proactive Team Administrative Assistant who can build strong relationships, provide exceptional support to senior stakeholders and uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism within WPP's global Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Communications team based in the UK.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience within a communications, corporate affairs, marketing, media or professional services environment and enjoys being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll provide support to senior stakeholders, helping to coordinate busy schedules, organise meetings, manage travel and ensure the team operates efficiently.

  • Managing diaries and schedules, coordinating meetings across multiple time zones and resolving conflicts proactively.
  • Organising stakeholder meetings, including meeting rooms, catering, virtual set-up and visitor arrangements.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel, creating seamless itineraries and ensuring travel aligns with company policies.
  • Preparing and managing expense submissions accurately and efficiently.

Wider Team Support

  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for team administration and operational support.
  • Supporting team events, meetings and wider logistics across the Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Communications function.
  • Maintaining distribution lists, organisational charts and shared team resources.
  • Ensuring documentation, marketing assets and information are organised, accurate and easily accessible.

What you'll need:

  • Experience as an Administrative Assistant, Team Assistant or Executive Assistant.
  • Experience within communications, corporate affairs, marketing, media, agency or professional services environments would be highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
