The Role
The post holder will provide an administrative function to the Wigan Neighbourhood Mental Health Service Team. The Team Administrator will coordinate the patient referral pathway with responsibility for ensuring referrals are processed, appointments are arranged, and the process is conducted within the required timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Wigan Neighbourhood Mental Health Service Team.
- Coordinate the patient referral pathway.
- Ensure referrals are processed and appointments are arranged within the required timeframes.
- Undertake general office duties including minuting team meetings, typing of letters and correspondence, and managing mailboxes.
- Answer and manage calls from patients and their carers/relatives and other health and social care professionals.
