The role

We're looking for a Team Assistant to keep our Investment team running smoothly day-to-day. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who is organised, personable, and wants hands-on experience supporting senior people in a fast-moving, regulated environment. You'll report to me (EA & Office Manager), and I'll be accountable for getting you up to speed and helping you grow into the role.

The primary focus is diary and travel coordination, and there will be plenty of scope to pick up broader administrative and office support as you settle in.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and coordinating diaries for the CIO and the wider Investment team — scheduling meetings, resolving clashes, and making sure everyone is where they need to be, with the right information they need
  • Booking and coordinating travel (flights, trains, hotels and itineraries) with keeping an eye on cost, comfort and changing plans.
  • Preparing meeting materials, agendas and rooms, and helping with follow-ups and action tracking
  • Acting as a friendly first point of contact for the Investment team's external meetings and visitors
  • Processing expenses and invoices relating to travel and diary commitments
  • Supporting with correspondence, filing and general administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaboration with the EA to support/ cover each other as required, and work on joint projects where necessary (absences/ annual leave)
  • Cross functional support across the business when needed and capacity allows
  • Supporting the Investments team and EA with external and internal events

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
