Site Introduction

In 2021, pladis proudly opened the doors to our vibrant global hub, the MIU Campus. Located in the heart of Chiswick Park, West London. Just a short 5-minute walk from Gunnersbury Station, our campus is nestled within 33 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a welcoming and inspiring environment for all. Chiswick Park is home to both our UK and Global Corporate teams, bringing together diverse teams across the business.

What will this role achieve?

You will work with Senior Leaders within our Global Commercial Team & Godiva Team. These Teams sit within our Global Functions. You will support the Senior Leaders and their teams, enabling them to operate effectively to deliver business objectives. The support you will provide maybe varied due to the unique requirements of each team.

Activities may include conference organisation, travel arrangements, diary management, PO management, team meetings and meeting preparation. Overall, you will need to be extremely proactive, collaborative and a standout team player, able to multi-task to support individuals and the teams.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What will be your key deliverables?

To provide a wide-ranging of administrative to the Vice Presidents within the Function and their teams. Responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating and setting up meetings; booking rooms, organizing catering
  • Diary management; organising and scheduling meetings
  • Organising travel arrangements (UK and International), including visas, accommodation, transport etc.
  • Processing of expenses
  • Payment of invoices
  • Data, project and financial administration - tracking changes and processes
  • Updating spreadsheets and databases
  • Producing reports, presentations, minutes, action logs, templates
  • Planning, organising and hosting of internal and external events, corporate lunches and dinners
  • Being a central liaison point for internal/external parties
  • Co-ordinating team deliverables and timelines and prompting actions as and when required

Skills / experiences and qualifications:

  • Able to build good, collaborative working relationships with a range of people
  • Advanced Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexible and proactive approach to work, able to multi-task and deliver a varied workload:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent co-ordination, organisation and administration skills
  • Eager to learn, flexible on working hours, open-minded and team oriented
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure & within strict deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Desirable

Embraces innovation and is keen to leverage emerging AI and digital tools to simplify processes, improve productivity, and enable high-quality outcomes

What will the interview process be?

Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition

1st stage interview – 45 minutes

Technical interview to understand your skill set & experience.

Competency-based interview aligned to our company values and your experience.

2nd stage interview – 30 minutes – an interview to dive a little deeper into any remaining Technical & Competency areas.

pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process. Some processes may differ, but we will keep you updated!
