Team Assistant - Film, TV & Theatre Department
We have an opportunity within the Film, TV & Theatre department for a Team Assistant.
Our Team Assistants offer general support to our Film, TV & Theatre department and will be happy to turn their hand to anything. This is a role where no week is ever the same – you could be running packages one minute to providing holiday cover on a busy Assistant’s desk the next. The ideal candidate will be interested in writers and directors. It is desirable, but not essential, that you have had some prior industry experience and can demonstrate a true passion for film, television & theatre.
The role requires someone who is hugely adaptable, has outstanding attention to detail, and would suit an individual keen to take the next step in their career, working with a number of high-profile offices.
The ideal candidate will have high level organisational skills making them an effective multitasker and possess the ability to remain calm whilst working at a fast pace.
Team Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general administrative support to Agents within the Department. This could include:
- Diary management for Agents
- Handling a high volume of emails and calls, both from clients and producers
- Processing contracts, issuing invoices, and keeping track of monies
- Researching upcoming projects and actively putting clients forward for suitable projects
- Ongoing updating of Department lists and various resources
- Script reading on behalf of Agents/clients
- Ensuring client CVs are up to date online
- Writing news stories for the Website
- Taking the Minutes at the weekly Department meeting
- Occasional evening attendance at Screenings and Press Nights
- Occasional holiday cover for Assistants in the Dept.
