This is a permanent Part-time role (21 hours) to cover Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

We’re looking for a motivated and capable individual to join our team as a Team Assistant. At Southern Housing, we are committed to delivering high-quality services, supporting our customers, driving innovation, and this role plays an important part in achieving that.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Services, you’ll be responsible for a full range of administrative and support services, ranging from moderate to complex, to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the team/department. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure effective operations and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assist others in the department to ensure efficient and effective administrative practices, and resolve administrative and other queries related to the work of the department.
  • Intercept and screen telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence, dealing with, or redirecting enquiries to the appropriate areas, as necessary.
  • Arrange, and attend or represent unit/supervisor at meetings, including preparing papers, booking rooms and refreshments, taking notes, and drafting minutes.
  • Booking appointments, updating calendars, and arranging travel/accommodation as required.
  • Liaison with members of staff in other departments and external contacts/customers, in relation to the team/department’s area of work.

This role is based at Isle of Wight office, with hybrid working arrangements.

About The Team

You’ll be part of the Reactive Repairs - Resolve team, working together to deliver a high-level service to our residents. The team collaborates closely with the organisation to ensure customer satisfaction.
