About the Role
As a Team Assistant at Burges Salmon, you will be responsible for supporting an allocated number of fee-earners across our various departments. You will support across a wide range of tasks, including:
- Producing and amending a wide range of documents, incorporating changes from lawyers accurately and efficiently.
- Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports.
- Coordinating client onboarding processes.
- Overseeing matter opening procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Raising invoices.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, including bookings and itineraries.
We offer every new starter a thorough induction and excellent training on our in-house legal systems (including iManage and Aderant). Knowledge of these specific systems is not essential but we do require a confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Please note that this role differs from our recently advertised Team Administrator position. Due to its broader responsibilities, including dedicated support for an allocated group of lawyers, we are seeking candidates with more extensive administrative experience.

What We're Looking For:
- Strong administration or coordination experience, ideally gained within a professional services environment.
- Previous experience as a Secretary or Personal Assistant (desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality support throughout the firm.
