Are you a highly organised problem-solver who enjoys bringing people, processes and information together?
As a Team Coordinator, in this newly created role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our people across the Capita Fire and Rescue contract. Reporting to the Head of Business Support, you'll provide coordination and administrative support across three key areas of the business, becoming a trusted and valued member of the team.
This is a full time, permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. Home based, with travel on a quarterly basis to the Fire Service College, Moreton in Marsh and some Station visits.

Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing regular management information (MI) reports and insights to support business decision-making.
- Maintaining records and trackers, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Coordinating governance, audit and assurance activities, tracking actions and key deliverables.
- Organising and supporting meetings and forums, preparing agendas, coordinating papers and following up on actions.
- Working with colleagues across the business to gather information, monitor progress and ensure activities stay on track.
- Maintaining and updating guidance, process documentation, templates and supporting materials to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
Essential qualifications/skills/experience:
- Previous administration experience
- Ability to obtain SC level vetting
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, with experience using pivot tables, formulas, filters and charts to analyse data
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately across data, spreadsheets and reports
- A proactive self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and adapt
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

About Capita Fire and Rescue (CFR):
Capita are creating a world class Fire and Rescue Service with the UK Ministry of Defence. We are game changing the future of firefighting within Defence with significant investment in technology, including the introduction of 128 state of the art fire fighting vehicles, and creating the conditions to provide Defence with a balanced approach to managing fire risk through an improved Prevention, Protection and Response strategy.
