About the Role
We’re seeking a Team Lead, Delegate Management for a 12-month fixed-term hybrid contract to drive operational excellence and client success. In this client-facing role, you’ll lead a small operational team, delivering delegate management services for UK and international clients while ensuring projects align with budgets, deadlines, and expectations. Your responsibility? Own every stage—from strategy to onsite delivery—while nurturing relationships and fostering collaboration across teams.

- Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring seamless project delivery to the highest standards.
- Serve as the senior operational point of contact for designated clients, managing escalations and relationship-building.

Project Oversight & Financial Prudence
- Monitor projects within scope, budget, and timeline, adjusting changes strategically and reporting on performance metrics (KPIs, profitability, payment schedules).

Literally Hands-On
- Execute projects end-to-end, including onsite event delivery in the UK and overseas when required.
- Maintain expertise in registration systems, event technology, and BCD M&E’s offerings.

Client-Centric & Cross-Functional Excellence
- Support commercial endeavors like pitches, proposals, and negotiations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven expertise in delegate management or equivalent events operations experience.
- Exceptional ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relational skills—long-term client partnerships are critical.
- Financial acumen—comfort managing budgets and escalating cost-related queries.
- Leadership experience motivating and developing high-performing teams.
Plus: Understanding industry-standard event platforms or familiarity with BCD M&E products are a plus.

- Exposure to client pitches, commercial strategies, or corporate concessions.
- Travel experience, especially overseas.
Work Arrangements & Requirements
✅ 12-month fixed-term contract | ☃ Hybrid model (2 days in-office at our BCD Fleet HQ) ⭕ Standard hours: 9:00–17:30 (with a break). ⚠ Proactively willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed. ⭐ Must have legal UK work authorization.
