Team Lead, eCOA Project Management (Language Services)

Job Overview:

The language services team within ICON is seeking highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee our eCOA implementation activities. This role involves leading a team of screen review specialists and migration project managers to ensure the successful implementation and migration of eCOA Electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical expertise in eCOA systems, and experience in translation and localization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of eCOA project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and managing employees’ life cycle including appraising performance, goals and guiding professional development.
  • Managing the staffing of eCOA projects effectively.
  • Ensuring that eCOA projects are completed on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and SOPs.
  • Providing guidance, training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in eCOA implementation & migration.
  • Preparing and presenting project information at internal & external meetings.
  • Contributing to initiatives focusing on technology, automation and process improvement.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Life Sciences, PRO, information technology, project management, linguistics).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in eCOA project management, clinical research, translation and localization, with managerial experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential, any additional language would be a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of eCOA platforms/systems and translation technologies.
  • Experience working with TMS and CAT tools.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients with demonstrated cultural and emotional intelligence.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in eCOA process.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
