Job Opportunity: Team Lead Product Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Team Lead Product Analyst based in the United Kingdom.

This is a growth-oriented product analytics leadership opportunity for an experienced analyst ready to expand their impact beyond hands-on analysis. You will initially focus on product and business analytics while progressively taking ownership of larger analytical initiatives, stakeholder relationships, and team leadership responsibilities. The role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Growth, Data, and business strategy, giving you broad visibility into how data drives decisions. You will investigate complex product and business questions, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Over time, you will mentor analysts, shape analytical standards, and develop the skills required to lead a product analytics function. This is an ideal environment for someone with strong analytical and business judgment who is motivated to grow into a people leadership role.

Accountabilities

  • Investigate changes in product, marketing, and business KPIs, identify root causes, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Conduct user behavior, funnel, retention, cohort, and segmentation analyses to understand product performance and customer behavior.
  • Design, evaluate, and interpret experiments, including A/B tests, CUPED/CUPAC methodologies, and the use of proxy metrics.
  • Quantify the expected and actual impact of product and marketing initiatives and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Growth, and other business teams to support data-driven decision-making and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Generate actionable insights that help improve product performance, customer engagement, retention, and business outcomes.
  • Work with Data Engineering to define analytical requirements, improve data quality, and strengthen the reliability of analytical datasets.
  • Contribute to analytics infrastructure, dashboards, reporting processes, and metric systems to make insights more accessible and consistent.
  • Help establish analytical standards, best practices, and reliable definitions for key product and marketing metrics.
  • Support marketing and growth analytics, including LTV, CAC, attribution, funnel measurement, performance analysis, and optimization.
  • Develop and validate leading indicators and proxy metrics that enable faster and more informed business decisions.
  • Gradually take ownership of larger cross-functional analytical projects and drive them independently from definition through delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing analytical expertise and helping strengthen team capabilities.
  • Participate in analytical planning and prioritization while developing stronger stakeholder management and communication skills with senior business leaders.
  • Progressively take responsibility for analytical processes, quality standards, and team performance as preparation for a Product Analytics Team Lead position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
