Team Leader Opportunity at Kaboodle @ Holiday Inn Express Derry

We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Team Leader.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will be expected to support the Assistant Manager with the day-to-day operation throughout the Kaboodle @ Holiday Inn Express Derry, ensuring the highest level of service is offered to all guests. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating a fun, welcoming environment and the ability to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise and assist in all operations from the activities, food service, and bar operations.
  • To supervise the activities of the Food and Beverage team members, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties to a high standard.
  • To be familiar with the day-to-day business, so that you can prepare the team and be ready for action.
  • To serve food and drinks and give excellent customer service, being a role model to the team demonstrating great hospitality.
  • To have a visible presence within the bar to ensure that all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and to keep all areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • To deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Training and motivating team members.
  • Ensuring all cash, charge, float, and till procedures are carried out correctly.
  • Ensure the team are meeting set criteria, through confirming that all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.
  • Ensure that Company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within all food and beverage areas.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Supervisory experience or be a strong Restaurant / Bar team member looking to take on additional responsibility.
  • Great communication skills so you can chat to our guests and of course the team.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to recognize what our customers want and need and be able to provide it.
  • Good people skills – to work well in a team - we want work to be fun for all our employees.
  • Have a genuine interest in providing hospitality to our customers.
  • Confidence with systems and taking payments.
  • To be able to work well under pressure at times and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
