About The Role

Join us in making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people in care.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CiC Team Leader to lead our Children in Care service, delivering high quality emotional health and wellbeing support to children in care, care leavers, carers and professionals.

Working closely with Coventry City Council, specialist CAMHS services and partner organisations, you will provide operational leadership, practice supervision and direct therapeutic support. Alongside managing a clinical caseload, you will lead a team of practitioners and counsellors, oversee referral pathways, support service development and ensure interventions remain responsive, effective and outcome focused.

You will build strong partnerships across health, education and social care, contribute to strategic planning and help shape innovative approaches that improve outcomes for children and young people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about combining leadership with therapeutic practice in a values led organisation committed to early intervention and positive change.

About You

You will be an accredited Children and Young People's Counsellor with a recognised supervisory qualification and experience of supporting children and young people with emotional health and wellbeing needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
