Team Leader

Location: Oxford Westgate, Oxford

Salary: £28,300 + Monthly Bonus

Hours: Full Time, Up to 40 Hours Per Week

Contract: Permanent

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Team Leader to join a growing women's accessories retailer based in Oxford Westgate.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Advisor, Senior Sales Assistant, or Supervisor who is ready to take the next step in their retail career. With strong sales growth, an excellent company culture, and genuine opportunities for progression, this role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills within a successful and supportive retail environment.

The Role

As Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience, drive sales performance, and lead the shop floor team.

You will be a visible leader on the sales floor, ensuring high standards of customer service, team engagement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Driving sales performance through effective floor management and coaching
  • Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day team leadership
  • Motivating and developing team members to achieve individual and store targets
  • Monitoring KPIs and encouraging commercial awareness across the team
  • Maintaining excellent visual merchandising and presentation standards
  • Supporting stock management and operational processes
  • Creating a positive and inclusive environment for both customers and colleagues

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a retail sales environment, ideally within fashion, clothing, accessories, footwear, beauty, or lifestyle retail
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, keyholder, senior sales, or junior leadership role
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience
  • A proven ability to influence sales and drive performance
  • Excellent communication and people leadership skills
  • The confidence to manage the shop floor and motivate others
  • A positive attitude and a desire to build a long-term retail career
