Our Cleaning Operations team are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to support the cleaning operations in our busy store. You will be working alongside your team, with a safety-first mindset, to maintain the first-class environment of our store and associated buildings to provide the best experience for our customers and colleagues. Shift working hours are 1 pm to 9:30 pm, working 5 days over 7, including 1 in every 2 weekends.
About the Role
You will work closely with store management to ensure cleaning activities align with store operations and customer experience goals. You will be responsible for maintaining cleaning schedules and ensure all areas, including shop floors, fitting rooms, restrooms, and staff areas, are cleaned as required. Promptly address any cleaning-related issues and report maintenance concerns to management.
You will also:
- Run daily team briefings to assign daily cleaning duties and monitor completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of the store to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Train and support new and existing team members on cleaning protocols, health & safety, and store-specific requirements.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to colleagues to ensure standards are maintained on a continued basis.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Handle stock control of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.

About You
You will be a strong leader with previous experience as a cleaning supervisor or team leader, ideally in a retail or commercial environment. You will have good knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety regulations, along with the ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
