Are you a vigilant and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding career in security? We are seeking a reliable and proactive Team Leader to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. If you have strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally, we would love to hear from you!
About The Role
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Gaps in the duty roster caused by sickness and holidays are covered.
- All Staff sign an attendance sheet on the Fulcrum Guardian App for each shift worked and that all hours worked are accurately reflected.
- Fully conversant with the Assignment Instructions and any amendments.
- All lateness and absenteeism are recorded and reported to the Security Manager.
- An accurate and up to date register is maintained of all property in the control of the security team.
- Staff are trained in new procedures, and refresher training is delivered as and where necessary.
- The security posts are always correctly manned by trained personnel and that incidents are correctly responded to.
- All assignment documentation is correctly compiled and distributed.
- Any general enquiries are dealt with efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
- Report all faults that arise which relate to the security systems or any security exposure that results from a system failure.

What We Are Looking For
- To hold a current DS SIA Licence
- Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
