Hours: Full time, 42 Hours per week, 4 on 4 off, 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00

Join Our Team as a Team Leader

We are seeking a customer-focused and proactive Security Team Leader to support our clients Central London Site in ensuring the safety, security, and positive experience within their designated corporate and public areas, protecting people, buildings and reputations. The Team Leader will be instrumental in leading the security team, implementing procedures, responding to incidents, and fostering a welcoming environment. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to both security and customer service.

About The Role

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Actively contribute to delivering a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
  • Assist in the development and updating of security protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Staff scheduling, appraisals and training development
  • Conduct regular security audits and inspections of public spaces, corporate space paying attention to both security risks and customer experience.
  • Implement access control measures and visitor management procedures in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Emphasise and promote a culture of excellent customer service within the security team, encouraging proactive assistance and a friendly demeanour.
  • Supervise, motivate, and train a security team to provide effective security and excellent customer service. Ensure daily quality audit checks are completed as scheduled.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively, including emergencies, accidents, and criminal activities. Prioritise the safety of people and Buildings. Investigate incidents and prepare detailed electronic reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and reports for the Sit Leads, Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Ensure full and active participation in daily meetings and departmental briefings. Communicate relevant information and objectives to the team, with a focus on both security protocols and customer service standards. Provide security briefings and training to staff and stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license, including Act/Scan training and first aid standards set by the SIA.
  • Proven experience in a security role, preferably in a public space, retail, hospitality or similar environment.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions under pressure, while remaining customer-focused with ability to problem solve.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of security principles, practices, and procedures.
