Role Description

We're looking for a hands-on and motivated Team Leader to support daily operations and energize the team on every shift. As a key part of the leadership structure at PG, the Team Leader helps ensure that the store runs smoothly, team morale stays high, and service is delivered with pace and positivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with daily operations.
  • Supervise team performance and provide support, motivation, and coaching on shift.
  • Help manage food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and stock checks.
  • Open or close the store when required, ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism.
  • Maintain shift paperwork, temperature logs, and equipment checks.
  • Set the tone for a positive, team-orientated shift experience.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed and the team is working efficiently together.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a team leader or supervisor role in hospitality.
  • Strong communication skills in English and people skills - approachable, clear, and supportive.
  • Confident in managing teams and giving real-time feedback.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety practices.
  • Able to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Organised, efficient, and proactive - always one step ahead.
  • Passionate about great service and team development.

This is a full-term position based in a store that operates Monday to Sunday. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and varied shifts is essential to meet the needs of the business.
