About the Role
Help us create a better future, quicker
We're looking for an inspirational and people-focused Customer Service Team Leader to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced customer environment. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on both customer experience and colleague development, helping to create a culture where people feel empowered, supported and motivated to perform at their best.
This role goes beyond traditional supervision. You'll act as a coach, mentor, problem-solver and change champion, using data, technology and customer insight to improve performance while delivering excellent outcomes for customers and colleagues alike.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead, motivate and develop a team of customer service professionals, creating an inclusive and high-performing environment where colleagues can thrive. Through coaching, quality assurance and regular development conversations, you'll support your team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
You'll use customer feedback, operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and help drive positive change. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the business to resolve customer issues, improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies and service standards. As an escalation point for complex enquiries and complaints, you'll play a key role in delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with experience leading teams within a customer service, contact centre or operational environment. You'll bring a strong coaching mindset and a passion for developing people, alongside excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
