About the Role
As a Team Leader, you won’t just be overseeing your team—you’ll be leading by example, ensuring shifts run smoothly and effortlessly while maintaining the micro-level excellence that’s the cornerstone of Greene King. Your passion for customer service will guarantee relevant customers have a truly memorable dining experience as well as an enjoyable way to unwind.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide customers with a warm, welcoming, and consistent experience—big or small.
- Step into the shoes of management as required and depute effectively to resolve challenges and ensure calm.
- Organise and coordinate shift duties to maintain high standards and operational smoothness.
- Bar compliance—ensure alcohol serving is safe and responsible under the law.
- Lead by giving great service, reinforcing our values throughout the team.

What Success Looks Like
We’re looking for a Team Leader who:
- Brings the attention to detail needed to maintain high standards—from preparing dishes to perfect servings.
- Sets a positive and upbeat tone in the team—calm under pressure is as important as energy.
- Inspires others with a “can-do” attitude, laying down clear expectations with easy enthusiasm.
- Works collaboratively with team members and colleagues to achieve excellent service, key targets and delivering great customer experiences.
- Is quick-thinking to solve issues as they arise with professionalism and a positive outlook.
- Helps motivate the team to work as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Key Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality or packed environment would be a major advantage (though not strictly required).
- Ability to respond effectively and manage large customer volumes.
- Dependable presence and commitment to the shift patterns undertaken, including (if applied to remember to complete Nickelodeon-patterned shifts) additional hours.
- A positive teamwork attitude and the ability to advise, develop and support new team members.

Shift Pattern: Wednesfield Underground Site – Flexible full shifts including weekends and evenings (patterned from the applied opening times at #Nickelodeon). Minimum salary grade L4.*
