Are you an experienced, compassionate and motivated clinician looking for your next leadership opportunity. We are seeking an exceptional both clinical and operational Team Leader to join our Children and Young People's autism service as we embark on the next stages of our ambitious transformation and service development.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of autism assessments and support children, young people and families. You will play a pivotal role in the development of new pathways, driving quality improvements, embedding innovative ways of working and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
As Team Leader you will provide clinical and operational leadership to a skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team. You will support staff to deliver high-quality autism assessments and intervention, champion continuous improvement and work collaboratively with families, education, health and social partners to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

Main duties of the job
- You will cover day to day responsibility for the operational management and delivery of a CYP Autism Service across South Staffordshire.
- You will ensure that a high-quality service is delivered within this specialist area and that all National and Trust targets and standards are adhered to including the recording of information within the IT systems.
- You will be responsible for the management of staff within the team, leadership, the delivery and delegation of management supervision and ensuring appropriate clinical / professional supervision takes place as per Trust Policy.
- You will also carry out clinical work to maintain clinical competencies and team performance. In conjunction with the service leads and multi professional partners they will develop the provision and quality of services for patients. This will demonstrably reflect the principles of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness, cost effectiveness as well as Trust and National Policy.
