We are looking for two experienced Team Leaders to Join Carers Federation, Caregivers Connected Service across Gateshead.
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting unpaid carers and communities to identify carers and enable them to access carer support services.
As key members of the team, you will work alongside the existing Operations Manager and have responsibility for the day-to-day line management and organisation of the delivery team, to ensure all aspects of the service is being delivered to the highest of standards.
Job Role
Working closely with the Operations Manager you will focus on supporting the team of triage and wellbeing workers for both young carers and adult carers in their day-to-day roles, ensuring efficiency in the delivery of all aspects of the service. This includes, ensuring that all people, processes and systems are working together to promote operational efficiency and quality. You will also be responsible for undertaking supervisions and case reviews with the delivery team.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Team Leader role with the ability to clearly set direction.
- Ability to build strong relationships and team ethos.
- Experience of performance management.
- Good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent team player able to create a confident and collaborative culture and working environment that empowers others.
- Experience of safeguarding both children and adults.
- Previous experience of the Health and Social Care environment.
- Understanding of carers including the differing support needs of young carers and adult carers.
- Able to respond to and be resilient to change.
- Ability to work with and use a number of IT systems.
- Office based.
- 28 Hours a week (can be discussed in interview).
