Description

To manage and lead a secretarial and administration team to provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to both internal and external clients to ensure the smooth running of the firm.

About The Role

  • Lead and manage the secretarial team to enable high performance
  • Allocate, delegate, and balance workloads in line with capability and capacity
  • Ensure appropriate cover, including holiday planning
  • Act as first point of contact for office and administrative matters
  • Attend and coordinate operational and service line meetings
  • Ensure efficient administrative processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead, manage, and support the administration team to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the office/service line
  • Allocate and prioritise workloads, taking into account team members’ skills, experience, and capacity
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure administrative support meets the needs of internal and external clients
  • Liaise with partners, managers, and technical teams to support workflow planning and deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency
  • Support recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of administration staff
  • Maintaining and supporting facilities supervisor regarding landlords and tenants of buildings
