Team Leader / Senior Biller – Construction Recruitment
London | International Recruitment Business | Leadership & Billing
Are you an experienced construction recruiter who wants to step into a genuine leadership opportunity without leaving recruitment behind?
We’re looking for a hands-on Team Leader / Senior Biller to help build and grow a contract recruitment function within an international recruitment business.
This is not a role for someone looking to simply manage from the sidelines.
You’ll be expected to lead from the front, continue billing, develop clients and help build a successful team around you.
The opportunity
The business is expanding its contract offering within the London construction market and is looking for an experienced recruiter who can combine strong personal billing performance with leadership.
You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the growth of the desk, develop junior recruiters and contribute to the wider direction of the team.
Ideally, you’ll already have some experience managing or mentoring recruiters.
However, we’re also interested in experienced senior consultants who are ready to take that next step.

What you'll be doing
You’ll have a genuine balance between leadership and recruitment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Continuing to build and bill your own desk
- Developing new and existing client relationships
- Mentoring and coaching consultants
- Supporting junior recruiters with their development
- Helping establish effective recruitment processes
- Leading from the front commercially
- Contributing to the growth of the contract division
- Identifying opportunities to expand the team and market
You’ll be expected to remain commercially active rather than moving entirely into people management.
What we're looking for
You could already be a Team Leader, Billing Manager or Senior Recruitment Consultant.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience across:
- Contract recruitment
- Construction recruitment
- White-collar construction or Blue-collar construction
- Mechanical & electrical recruitment
- Engineering or technical recruitment
You don't necessarily need a long track record of formal management.
If you’ve been the person others turn to for advice, regularly mentor junior consultants and are already operating as an informal leader, this could be the next step.
