Description & Requirements

Bloomberg runs on data. Our products are fueled by powerful information. We combine data and context to paint the whole picture for our clients, around the clock – from around the world. In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes.

The Team

Our Bloomberg New Issues Credit team is responsible for the timely and accurate publication of new bonds being brought to market. Responsibilities also include developing automated pipelines for ingestion and publication of new issue data, enhancing our primary markets dataset, and finding opportunities to expand our data product offering through client engagement. Our New Issues team works closely with internal consumers of our data including the News, Evaluated Pricing, and Index teams. We also heavily collaborate with our counterparts in Product, Sales & Engineering.

What’s the Role?

We’re looking for a strong motivated people leader to manage the Credit Bonds Data team in EMEA. In this role, you’ll be leading a team of data modelling professionals and data engineers who are responsible for the acquisition and publication of data driving many critical products and services across the terminal. You’ll coach and mentor team members, helping drive automation strategies to deliver faster, more accurate data and contribute to the broader product strategy around credit and primary markets. You’ll also provide hands-on guidance, lead technical discussions, and give direction and feedback to ICs in the team aligning to industry best practices and governance to ensure a future-proof data model.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
