TIMES24 UK is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Team Leader to support the smooth, safe and efficient operation of our car park sites. You will help lead operational teams, maintain high service standards and ensure that customers receive a positive experience at every stage of their journey.

Working closely with colleagues, customers, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will support the day-to-day management of site activity, provide guidance to team members and help resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced customer service, supervisory or operations professional who is confident leading people, managing changing priorities and taking ownership of site responsibilities.

Schedule and Location:

This is a Full Time position, that will see the successful candidate working 37.5 hours per week, made up of 2pm to 10pm shifts 5 days per week.

This role will be based in the Manchester Area, and will involve supervising and visiting multiple sites throughout the shift, to perform key compliance checks, provide support to the team and be a friendly face to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the car park site, ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused service.
  • Lead, support and motivate team members to deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
  • Allocate daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that operational priorities are managed effectively.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional customer service experience to all visitors and customers.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and operational issues in a timely and helpful manner.
  • Resolve problems effectively, escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal team when required.
  • Support team members in handling challenging customer situations and operational incidents.
  • Monitor the site to ensure that car park equipment, signage, payment facilities and customer areas are functioning correctly.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and report maintenance, cleanliness, security or health and safety concerns.
  • Work with contractors and service providers to support the completion of repairs, maintenance and other site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, customer feedback, equipment faults, staffing and operational activity.
  • Support the implementation of company procedures, operational standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Assist with team briefings, training, coaching and the onboarding of new colleagues.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist with monitoring site performance, occupancy, customer activity and service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, team performance and overall site experience.
  • Represent Times 24 professionally when dealing with customers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in a team leader, supervisory, customer service or operational role.
  • Experience supporting, supervising or coordinating a team.
  • Strong customer service, leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience handling customer enquiries, complaints and service-related issues.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends or varied shifts where required.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in parking, transport, facilities management, retail, hospitality or another customer-facing operational environment.
  • Experience delivering staff training, coaching or performance feedback.
  • Previous experience supervising contractors or coordinating site activity.
  • Knowledge of car park systems, payment equipment or access-control technology.
  • Experience carrying out site inspections and reporting maintenance or health and safety issues.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
