Job Summary

Are you an ambitious and passionate midwifery leader?

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest and most progressive maternity providers in the UK, caring for around 9000 families each year across two busy maternity units. We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated midwife to join our leadership team as Team Leader for Delivery Suite at the Leeds General Infirmary.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence the future of maternity care, lead a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, drive innovation, and shape the experience of women, babies and families during one of life's most significant moments. We are looking for a visible, compassionate and inspiring leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering safe, personalised and outstanding intrapartum care.

Why you should join our Team

This is an exciting time to join Leeds Maternity Services. We are committed to continuous improvement, innovation and excellence and are proud of our culture of collaboration, learning and professional development. Our Delivery Suite sits at the heart of a large tertiary maternity service, providing exposure to complex care, specialist services and opportunities to work alongside experts across maternity, neonatal and obstetric care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
