Reports to: Head of EU Operations
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Head of EU Operations, the Team Leader, EU Logistics will focus on optimising processes, improving service levels, and ensuring compliance with all aspects of EU inbound and outbound Logistics. The Manager, EU Logistics will lead, mentor, and motivate the EU Logistics and DC planning Team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the overall EU supply chain and contributing to Funko’s overall success in the EMEA region through our 3rd party logistics provider based in the Netherlands. This role holder will also collaborate with key stakeholders and will interface with a variety of other functional areas such as Sales, Planning, IT and Human Resources to deliver the results that achieve the business goals and objectives. Furthermore, the Team Leader, EU Logistics alongside the Head of EU Operations will be accountable for ensuring that all activities meet the customer’s contractual requirements, quality standards and expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the team of 3, 2 Logistics EU Co-ordinators and 1 Senior Logistics Co-ordinator.
- Drive a “Right First Time” mentality and culture within operations to deliver service to customers with excellence.
- Serve as the champion for change led by a robust continuous improvement programme that embodies Funko values & culture.
- Actively mentor and develop employees to empower responsibility in partnership with People & Culture and line manager.
- Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching and personal development.
- Prepare and deliver data driven reviews and dashboards to the Operations Management EMEA.
- Maintenance and training of SOP’s and adherence of SOPs to keep focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Execute and oversee the administration of shipments from our 3PL provider to customers across EMEA.
- Ensure all internal and external, deliveries are made in a timely manner.
- Liaising with Operations, Suppliers, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders and our warehouse partners based in the Netherlands.
- Ensure all relevant invoices are posted in our system to ensure revenue capture.
- Responsible for controlling and arranging inbound deliveries into our EMEA logistics partner in the Netherlands working with the Regional Transport Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining workplace safety and environmental compliance in the DC.

What You’ll Bring
- Highly organised, proactive approach and a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrable ability to evaluate the organisation and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to build effective working relationships, influence and problem-solve complex issues while effectively handling internal pressures.
- Proficient working knowledge and experience in fulfilment in an FMCG environment.
- High levels of initiative, energy and have passion and dedication for completing tasks to the highest standards.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual, as well as part of the wider centre team.
- You will have excellent communication skills and be competent in English & Maths.
- 3PL contract management experience preferred.
- Ocean Freight experience desirable.
- OOCL Podium experience desirable.
- Microsoft D365 experience desirable.
- You must also have IT skills and be able to utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently.
