Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Tayside Health Visiting Service for an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Health Visiting or equivalent qualification to apply for the post of Team Leader.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to Health Visitors and Early Years workers within the Service.
- Deliver the National Health Visiting Universal Pathway to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Work closely with the Senior Nurse to evidence and meet both local and national priorities.
Essential Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of GIRFEC, the Children & Families (Scotland) Act 2014, and the responsibilities of the Named Person function.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
- Evidence of recent postgraduate study or willingness to undertake relevant study essential for the post.
- Registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
- Hold a Special Health Visiting or Public Health qualification.
