Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Facilities Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.
We are looking for someone with experience working in a Facilities Management industry or leading a high-performing team in a similar environment.
Role Details
- Salary: £30,869.34
- Location: Barry Buddon Training Camp, Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, DD7 7RY
- Contract: Permanent / Full‑time / On-site
- Hours: Monday to Sunday between 08:00 - 16:00

Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a team, acting as primary point of contact for task allocation and performance management.
- Supervising the handover and takeback of accommodation and camp facilities.
- Play an active role - some of your time will involve working alongside your team.
- Supervising cleaning standards in the accommodation and training facilities.
- Undertake cleaning duties within facilities and accommodation blocks.
- Oversee stock levels, ensuring materials and supplies are managed efficiently. Order stores as required.
- Carry out grounds maintenance tasks.
- Operate and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
- Conduct general building maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations by you and your team.
- Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience of soft facilities management services.
- General experience in housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH, manual handling, and risk assessments.
- A proactive approach to learning and personal development
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise and plan workload
- Flexibility to work in an ever-changing work environment.
- Experience in dealing with HR related attendance, behaviour and capability issues.
