At Alexandra Park, we're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our established team, supporting adults with a wide range of abilities and complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a real difference to the lives of the people we support every day.
About The Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, supporting both colleagues and the individuals who live at Alexandra Park. You will help ensure high standards of care are maintained, promote independence, and deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
We are seeking someone who is compassionate, motivated, and committed to empowering people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
About Alexandra Park
Alexandra Park is a unique service comprising 28 single-occupancy bungalows and a four-bedroom house, all set within extensive grounds in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

The service is designed to support individuals with highly complex needs who may be unable to live with others but benefit from a consistent, skilled support network. Dedicated teams provide support within each bungalow, delivering high-quality care and support throughout a 24-hour period.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Experience working within a health and social care setting. Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs would be advantageous.
- An NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Alternatively, a minimum of two years' experience working within the learning disability sector.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A caring, positive and person-centred approach.
