  • Delivering exceptional care - supporting residents with all aspects of daily living while maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Leading and supporting your team - supervising junior staff, guiding new starters, and helping create a confident, capable night team.
  • Providing attentive, personalised support - including physical, emotional, and spiritual care.
  • Supporting residents with mobility needs - using aids effectively and ensuring safety at all times.
  • Monitoring residents with confusion or behavioural needs - offering reassurance and stability.
  • Promoting continence and wellbeing.
  • Supporting end-of-life care - ensuring comfort, dignity, and compassion.
  • Completing and reviewing care plans - keeping accurate records in line with company policies.
  • Encouraging hobbies and social activities - helping residents stay connected and engaged.
  • Responding to calls and communication - including nurse call systems, telephone, and door access.
  • Liaising with GPs and managers - ensuring seamless, high-quality care.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Warm and approachable
  • Organised and confident leading a team
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and motivating
  • Passionate about improving older people’s lives
  • Flexible with evenings and weekends
  • Experienced in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 (or willing to work towards it)
