Based out of our Leeds site, Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as a Team Leader.
What do you get to do in this position?
In this role, you will be supervising, developing, and leading a well-established team of 15 to 20 shop floor workers and ensuring the safe and efficient manufacture and test of Schneider Electric's range of products.

What are your key responsibilities in the role?
- Lead the production team
- Ensure a safe working environment and that all legal Health and Safety obligations are met. Support Health and Safety representatives. Ensure all personnel are H&S conscious and fully aware of their obligations.
- Motivate staff, monitor, control, and report upon the delivery performance of the production area.
- Strive to deliver cost-effective improvements into the efficiency of the production area and provide evidence of such improvements.
- Determine and implement, as agreed with the Process Manager, training requirements for staff. Ensure training records are maintained in accordance with Company procedures.
This role might be for you if?
- You have adequate GCSE grades in English / Maths
- You have extensive practical experience in a similar Team Leader role
- You have knowledge / understanding of staff supervision practices
