Location: Horizons, Poole

Salary: A GBP 13.95 per hour

Hours Per Week: 30

Team Leader: Shaftesbury Horizons (Poole, Dorset)

Are you a passionate leader ready to make a real difference?

At Shaftesbury Horizons, we're looking for a dedicated Team Leader to help shape a supportive, inclusive environment where people can truly thrive. Please note this role will be predominantly day work but will include the occasional night shift.

Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support for both the people we support and your team.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading and supporting a team of care professionals
  • Overseeing daily operations of the service
  • Promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing
  • Ensuring care is personalised, flexible, and of the highest standard

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • A positive, proactive leadership style
  • Passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care
  • Commitment to our values and making a difference

Additional Requirements

  • Participation in on-call rota (A GBP 10 per session)
  • Occasional sleep-in shifts (A GBP 60 per shift)
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights
