About The Role
Team Leader – Recoveries Department
Manchester
Hybrid – During your six-month probation period, you'll be based in our Media City office each day. Once you've successfully completed probation, you'll move to a hybrid working pattern with two office days per week.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Team Leader to join our RTA Recoveries department. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, technical quality, financial performance, and colleague development across a high-performing recoveries team.
The RTA Recoveries team is a knowledgeable, supportive, and ambitious group of professionals dedicated to maximising recovery opportunities for our clients following road traffic accidents. The team manages a varied caseload, working collaboratively to overcome challenges, share expertise, and achieve excellent results. We take pride in fostering a positive culture where colleagues are encouraged to develop their skills, contribute new ideas, and support one another's success. As Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance while helping to shape an engaged and motivated team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of recoveries professionals.
- Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for litigated RTA recovery claims.
- Deliver team performance against agreed financial, operational and service KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and stakeholders.
- Drive revenue generation, recovery rates and billing performance.
- Lead operational improvement projects and business change initiatives
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive experience handling litigated RTA recovery claims.
- Strong understanding of liability investigations and dispute resolution.
- Previous leadership, supervisory or coaching experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- Strong client relationship management capability.
