We're looking for an inspiring Team Leader to lead our brand-new Remote Interventions Team in West Sussex. If you're an experienced leader who enjoys developing people, building partnerships and delivering high-quality services, we'd love to hear from you.
About The Role
As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Remote Interventions Team, ensuring people receive safe, effective and person-centred support wherever they access our services.
You'll create an environment where your team feels supported, empowered and confident to deliver excellent care, while working closely with operational leaders and partner organisations to continually improve the service.
This is a varied leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll balance operational management with coaching, quality improvement, partnership working and service development, ensuring the team delivers consistently high standards of care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of Senior Workers through regular supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Creating a positive, inclusive team culture where learning, collaboration and continuous improvement are encouraged.
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and ongoing development of new colleagues.
- Working alongside the Deputy Service Manager to develop and improve service delivery.
- Building strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders across West Sussex.
- Supporting staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes for people using our services.
- Providing constructive feedback through observations and quality assurance activity.
- Promoting safeguarding, governance and best practice across the team.
- Working as part of the Operational Leadership Team to help maintain safe, welcoming environments for colleagues and people accessing our services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
