What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operation of services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for customers.
  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of staff through induction, training, performance management, and continuous professional development.
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, delivery, and review of individual goal setting plans.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Monitor budgets and contribute to resource planning and service development.
  • Promote customer involvement, advocacy, and person-centred approaches.
  • Support the strategic development of services to meet the diverse needs of local communities.
  • Champion equality, inclusion, health and safety, and best practice across the service.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience leading or supervising teams within social care, community services, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
  • Has experience of goal setting/care planning, staff development, and service improvement.
  • Understands the needs, rights, and aspirations of people with reablement needs.
  • Can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Has knowledge of equality, diversity, safeguarding, and health and safety practices.
