As a natural leader, you'll enjoy supporting and developing others, creating a positive and inclusive environment where residents feel valued and colleagues feel empowered to perform at their best. You'll bring warmth, compassion and professionalism to every interaction, helping to make a real difference to people's lives every day.

With experience supporting older people in a residential care setting, you'll be confident leading care teams, managing priorities and building positive relationships with residents, families and professionals. You'll have a good understanding of the Care Act, National Care Standards and relevant care legislation, alongside experience in care planning, record keeping and performance monitoring.

Ideally, you'll hold a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards a Level 4 qualification. Flexibility is important, as the role will include weekend and bank holiday working when required.

Experience as a Team Leader, Senior Carer or in a similar supervisory role, particularly within dementia care, would be advantageous. A management qualification, experience supporting staff through supervision and appraisals, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle would also be beneficial.
