Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Streetwise team as Team Leader, Street Scene.
Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Streetwise has recently won the Municipal Journal’s best service delivery team at a national level.
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Team Leader – Street Scene to join our award-winning team at Rushcliffe Borough Council. You will be based at the Streetwise Bingham Depot reporting directly to the Streetwise Manager, overseeing the delivery of all cleansing services across Rushcliffe.
This includes:
- Litter picking and mechanical sweeping
- Bin emptying
- Graffiti removal
- Ensuring Rushcliffe remains a clean and great place to live
The role will also oversee the day-to-day management of Rushcliffe owned car parks. This is a varied role which will support work schedules, health and safety, risk assessments, as well as car park operations and income monitoring.

To be successful, you will need to have enthusiasm with a ‘can do’ attitude and be used to working in a team environment. You will be experienced in managing staff and have knowledge of the range of operational areas that you will be managing. We want someone to bring their experience and knowledge within the Street Scene environment to join us at this exciting time.
