Full Time, 3 years fixed term contract (extension subject to funding)

This is an exciting time to join the Supported Lettings Team, we are at the forefront of preventing homelessness.

About the Role

As a Team Leader in the Supported Lettings Team, you will manage a team of skilled support workers along side an experienced Team Leader colleague.

The Supported Lettings Team work with vulnerable adults, with a wide range of needs in their own homes. We prevent homelessness and promote independence.

As Team Leader you will lead, develop and support the front-line Support Workers to provide the highest quality support.

You will keep a small caseload, to maintain your skills and knowledge of direct support work.

The team is also contributing to a range of initiatives to address the wider challenges for Housing Options.

As Team Leader, you will take the lead on new projects and new initiatives.

There will be many opportunities to build your experience and management skills.

Contract Details

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.

If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
