Brief Description

Hours: 07:30-16:00 Mon-Fri

The Team Leader provides a key role within the Warehousing function of the Company. The role is responsible for the day to day supervision of forklift operatives and employees within the warehouse; responsible for picking customer orders and receiving/providing materials to support the manufacturing department.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising and motivating the team to ensure all tasks are completed in line with customer requirements.
  • Goods In and Goods Out; checking all deliveries for accuracy and quality and ensuring items are booked in/out in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining tidy work areas in the warehouse and yard.
  • Key part of the monthly stock take process and daily cycle counting.
  • Responsible for completing first aid course and providing first aid if required.
  • Ensuring that H&S is adhered to at all times, reporting any incidents to the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor or QHSE Manager.
  • Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times, reporting any issues to the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor.
  • Identify any training requirements and assisting with the training of new employees within the department.
  • Ensuring that equipment (forklifts, racking etc) are regularly inspected and maintained to a high standard.
  • Identify any improvements within the section & suggesting these to management.
  • Daily communication with management, reporting any issues which have arisen.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management team, in order to meet the needs of the business.
