Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 06.00 to 14.30
Salary:
£36,490 plus 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme
About The Role
As a Team Leader at Unipart you'll lead, manage, coach, motivate and engage a team of people to coordinate activities to achieve a number of business goals through effective process compliance management, continuous improvement, quality and a focus on self and team development. You'll have responsibility for your team's performance and you'll have a keen eye for process improvements and spotting the best ways of reducing cost whilst delivering world class service and results. You'll work very closely with your Operations Manager to deliver results together across your department. We don't just have a way of working, we have The Unipart Way. You'll have a key role to play in helping your team go 'From Gate to Great', with all the opportunities that go with it.
As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities, You'll
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, drive cost efficiencies, and improve operational performance
- Monitor and improve performance by updating daily, weekly, and monthly reports using visual management tools
- Foster a positive team culture and drive engagement while promoting skills training and professional development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to develop solutions for wider organizational challenges
- Ensure delivery of world-class customer service by consistently striving to exceed client expectations

About You
We'd love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you'd be able to perform well in this role!
- GCSE or equivalent level of education (including Maths and English)
- Experience of managing and leading a team of up to 15 people
- Excellent communication skills including effective listening
- Good IT skills with skills in SAP, Microsoft Office and / or Google Suites
- Logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data
- A commitment to self-development and team development
- Experience of adapting to and leading programmes of change
- Awareness of health, safety and environmental standards
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Demonstrable experience of working with lean / continuous improvement techniques
