Can you provide excellent leadership and management for our humanitarian health programming in various locations?
UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we have been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters strike.
Our emergency responses are staffed through our Register of surge responders. Register members undergo extensive training and vetting in advance, enabling them to deploy quickly to where they are most needed. Those selected to join a response team are offered a fixed-term contract for the duration of the response and are paid in line with our globally benchmarked pay scales.
To expand our Ebola staffing capacity and strengthen our preparedness for future outbreaks, we are seeking experienced French-speaking Team Leads to join the UK-Med Register. These roles may support future Ebola preparedness and response activities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other Francophone countries, depending on operational needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
