About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Team Manager within our Leaving Care Service on a 1-year FTC. You will lead and support a team of Personal Advisers to help care experienced young people successfully transition into adulthood and independence.
You will
- ensure care leavers are actively involved in assessment, pathway planning and decision-making
- provide leadership, supervision and oversight to a team of Personal Advisers, promoting high-quality practice and positive outcomes
- maintain oversight of Pathway Plans and statutory responsibilities for care leavers aged 16-25
- work collaboratively with partner agencies, including housing, health, education and employment services, to ensure young people receive coordinated support
- drive continuous improvement, performance and best practice across the service

About you
We are looking for an experienced and motivated social worker who will:
- be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England
- have extensive experience of working with children and young people in a statutory social care setting, specifically within Leaving Care services
- have experience of leading and developing Leaving Care Personal Advisers and creating a positive learning culture
You will be committed to delivering high-quality services, supporting your team to thrive and ensuring that every young person receives the support they need to achieve their goals and aspirations.
