Liquid Personnel is recruiting Team Manager for its clients Children in Care & Care Leavers Team at Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting children in care and young people transitioning into adulthood, ensuring positive outcomes and high-quality practice across the service.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Managing and supporting a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors
  • Providing effective leadership, supervision, and performance management
  • Overseeing assessments, care planning, and pathway planning
  • Ensuring statutory responsibilities and timescales are met
  • Supporting children in care and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes
  • Driving high standards of safeguarding and practice quality
  • Working closely with partner agencies and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Previous management or supervisory experience within Children's Services
  • Strong knowledge of Children in Care and Care Leavers legislation and practice
  • Experience managing performance and supporting practitioner development
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
