We're looking for an experienced Personal Lines Team Leader to join our UK Retail business, leading a high-performing team responsible for delivering outstanding service across a diverse portfolio of personal insurance products.
This is an opportunity to make a real impact. You'll lead, develop and inspire a team of Personal Lines professionals, ensuring customers consistently receive excellent advice, service and support while helping the business achieve its retention, growth and operational goals.
The role can be based from either our Sheffield or Ringwood office. As the team is spread across both locations, regular travel between offices will be required to support colleagues, maintain team engagement and drive consistent performance across the function.

What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Personal Lines team, ensuring service excellence, operational effectiveness and positive customer outcomes remain at the heart of everything you do.
You'll:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Personal Lines professionals
- Create a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture
- Ensure customers receive excellent service, appropriate advice and fair value outcomes
- Monitor team workloads, productivity and service levels to achieve business objectives
- Support retention, growth and customer satisfaction targets
- Oversee quality, compliance and regulatory standards across the team
- Support the resolution of complex customer queries and escalations
- Build strong relationships with insurer partners and stakeholders across the wider business
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, efficiency and operational performance
- Support change initiatives, new processes and continuous improvement activities

As Team Leader, you'll sit at the heart of the operation, ensuring colleagues are supported, customers receive excellent outcomes and service standards remain consistently high. Your leadership will directly influence customer satisfaction, team engagement, operational performance and business success.
Alongside leading your team, you'll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Operations, Compliance, Claims and insurer partners to drive collaboration, share best practice and support strategic business objectives.

About you
We're looking for a strong people leader with a passion for delivering great customer outcomes and developing others to achieve their full potential.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience within Personal Lines insurance
- Experience leading, coaching or developing individuals and teams
- Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and customer journeys
- Experience managing service delivery, workloads and operational performance
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- A sound understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements
- The ability to balance customer needs, colleague experience and commercial objectives
- A proactive and customer-focused mindset
