Our North service is looking for a Team Manager

Our North service is looking for a Team Manager to join an established team based in our Doncaster office but with the flexibility to work from home. Whilst sitting within the Five Rivers North service, the Doncaster office covers such a large geographical area that it is split into two, Doncaster North Team and Doncaster South Team. This role is to manage our Doncaster North Team which covers; Leeds, Bradford, York, other areas of North Yorkshire, East Riding, Hull and North Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management of the Doncaster North Team
  • Ensuring the best possible outcomes for all our children and Foster Carers
  • Attending carer connection groups, training and managers meetings across the region

Requirements

  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for improving outcomes for children
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Management or Leadership qualification or willingness to undertake training
  • Experience working in the fostering sector or with children/young people in social care
  • Formal social work qualification
  • Valid driving license
  • Right to work in the UK

Hours

This is a full-time role of 37 hours covering 5 days per week, with some flexibility working from home when agreed by the service manager.

  • Monday to Thursday 9 am – 5 pm
  • Friday 9 am – 4:30 pm
  • Although some flexibility will be required
