- Manage, motivate and develop a team of professional practitioners, creating a positive culture of learning, wellbeing and high performance.
- Ensure children receive safe, effective and trauma-informed support tailored to their individual needs.

- Champion Child First and restorative approaches, ensuring young people’s voices are heard and shape the support they receive.
- Drive service quality, innovation and continuous improvement, maintaining high standards and inspection readiness.
- Work collaboratively with partners including Police, Probation, Health, Education, Social Care and SEND services to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Chair and contribute to multi-agency panels and forums, helping to make informed decisions that keep children safe and support positive change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
